Wood Chopping Trivia

1. The tiniest part of the axe blade in the wood can be most difficult to remove
2. A knot can be harder than the steel axe head
3. It is very difficult to hit the same spot of the wood twice
4. Likewise, the smaller the piece of wood the greater the challenge to hit it
5. Sometimes smaller pieces of wood move just before the axe head lands
6. I have been known to split the log beneath the wood I am chopping
7. There are times when great force is called for, other times let the axe head do the work
